Cars

Wow! It's been a looong time since I last posted!

I definitely didn't draw these cars for fun! My sister needed a car for an ad...cars are not easy to draw or color! I picked the Prius and Camry. I played around more with the Camry in terms of style and shading cause that's the model she wanted me to go with. My sister wanted something more simple, and not realistic like I did with the Prius, so Al Hirschfeld was an inspiration. There's a douglas fir tree in the plate to represent Oregon ;)

Cars

The Prius was the first one I attempted. I made the Prius more realistic, and I also played around with effects in photoshop. I used an effect called sponge on the second image. I like the texture it gives :)

Old Faces...plus baby face

I was also studying old mens' faces to figure out what to do with my caterpillar face...It was fun drawing them out actually, despite all those wrinkles to sort through! There's that one baby face because I was debating whether or not to use a bug eyed look or the squinty look...I like the squinty eyed look better :)

More Alice In Wonderland

Here I was trying to figure out different compositions for Alice and the Caterpillar. I also did some studies on some 'shrooms and hookas...no not what you think!

Alice In Wonderland

Whooo...it's been a really long time since I posted...I'm horrible with these sort of things, which is why I don't do the whole myspace or friendster...
These are some character concepts for Alice In Wonderland when I was taking Lou's class. They are still rough, even the colors...I used prisma markers, but only have the basic colors. When I finalize the characters I plan to use photoshop or painter...hopefully soon! Alice and the Queen were drawn and colored on tracing paper, so they look a little crinkled... sorry :/ I also included the Hatter's tea set concepts.
